Coming home from church, I saw the moon rising and knew that if I could find a good shooting location, this was an opportunity to get some nice photos of our skyline. I drove up and down the streets, looking for an angle, parked next to the baseball stadium, and noticed that a tall building across the street had a fire escape on the east wall. I raced up the steps to the top floor and shot these pictures.
The crane is at the site of the old Wachovia Tower, a 1960s office high-rise that has sat empty for years and is now being converted into condominiums.

That moon really shows up well! VEry bright.
Thanks RR. I took all kinds of exposures to get this one. Glad I don't have to pay for film developing anymore.
