The old signs painted on the sides of buildings are fading away, literally and figuratively, so I try to preserve each one I see by taking a photo of it. I hope to document all the signs in Greensboro--don't know what I'll do with it, but it will be a nice collection to have. This one is for a moving company, I'm guessing from the 1950s or so, based on the old phone number. An Amtrak train rolled by while I was shooting, and I thought it added an element of interest to the photo.

I like old signs on buildings too. Occasionally, I find a really old one behind an added awning or something.
I continue my tour... Your pictures are very nice. This one looks as if it was the decor of a Western. probably the font used on that sign. I like it!
