Grosbeak and Woodpeckers

A Rose Breasted Grosbeak visits my garden on his way to his summer home up north, while two Red-Bellied Woodpeckers lunch on peanuts.

What beauties! I am putting your blog in my favorites. I love watching the birds through different blogs. :)

Wow. So that's where the Rose-breasted Grosbeaks are at? Your house. We have them here usually in May for a day or two.

We have the Red-bellied woodpeckers all winter. A pair have adopted us I guess and they hang around eating suet, and woodpecker bars and peanuts and sunflower chips.

I will probably not comment in the future as it takes too many tries and wastes too much time trying to get the "word verification right." It is not just your site, lots of people use it but blogger has changed the alphabets and it is a mess. I turned mine off as people complained about it to me.

It took me 5 tries to get this posted.
