The Carolina Theater opened on Halloween Night in 1927. It has been beautifully restored and is a popular venue for all kinds of performing arts, as well as classic movies.

Foust Building Arches
The Foust Building (circa 1892) on the campus of UNC Greensboro is, for my money, one of the most beautiful buildings in town. Built in the Romanesque Revival style it features these heavy stone arches over the front entry. The building is said to be haunted by a ghost who exercises on the top floor, where the school gymnasium was once housed.
