Happy Halloween

My neighbor goes all out for Halloween. The red and white ribbons of light are from a car that passed by as I took the photo at a very slow shutter speed. It's kind of creepy that you see the lights but not the car. Maybe it was a phantom car!

Pastabilities

I've always liked the Art Deco look of this local restaurant. And the food's not bad either!

Greensboro Skyline

Coming home from church, I saw the moon rising and knew that if I could find a good shooting location, this was an opportunity to get some nice photos of our skyline. I drove up and down the streets, looking for an angle, parked next to the baseball stadium, and noticed that a tall building across the street had a fire escape on the east wall. I raced up the steps to the top floor and shot these pictures.

The crane is at the site of the old Wachovia Tower, a 1960s office high-rise that has sat empty for years and is now being converted into condominiums.
